# 01A The Work I Do

I work on several software projects, and most of them begin with a problem that I understand from experience.
One project helps people learn a language, while another helps visitors discover useful tools and compare different products.
Although the projects serve different audiences, I usually describe my role in the same simple way.
I turn ideas into practical features, review the results, and decide what the team should work on next.
I use AI assistants during development, but I still need to understand the decisions that affect the final product.
An assistant can suggest an approach or explain a function, and I provide the goal and the relevant context.
When someone asks what I do, I avoid listing every framework, service, and package that I use.
Instead, I explain who the product is for and how it helps people complete a particular task.
This introduction gives the other person a clear picture before we discuss any technical details or future plans.
I do not need to sound like an expert in everything; I need to describe my work accurately and clearly.
I can discuss a technical detail later, once the other person understands the ordinary activity that the product supports.
