# 03B A Visitor's First Session

Imagine that a new visitor opens the learning website during a short break and has only fifteen minutes to study.
The visitor does not know our course names, so the first page needs to explain which lesson offers a suitable starting point.
There is a brief goal above each lesson, and a sample sentence shows the kind of expression the visitor will practice.
After choosing a lesson, the visitor reads the English passage and checks the Chinese explanation whenever an unfamiliar expression appears.
A vocabulary section provides a few useful meanings, while the examples show how the same words work in different situations.
The visitor can then move to a short exercise and try to produce a complete sentence without looking at the original.
If an answer is difficult, there is a reference version to compare with the visitor's own attempt and improve it.
This first session should end with a small achievement, such as describing a project or asking a clear question.
We can evaluate the product by asking whether the visitor understands the next step and finds the material useful.
The number of features matters less than the quality of this ordinary experience, especially when the product is still young.
