# 05D Sentence Review

A useful question gives the other person enough information to understand what I know and what I still need to learn.

For example, I might ask whether rebuilding a container will remove the settings that I saved during the previous session.
I can also repeat the main idea in simpler words and ask the other person to confirm whether my understanding is correct.
Sometimes an answer appears clear because it uses familiar words, but those words can refer to different things in different projects.
I can ask a direct question, such as whether the new version has been deployed to the production environment.
When I request an explanation, I keep the embedded question in ordinary statement order, even if the original question uses inversion.
If the evidence is incomplete, it is reasonable to ask what needs to be checked before we reach a firm conclusion.
Could you explain where the application saves its settings and whether those settings will remain after the container is rebuilt?
I understand the general difference, but could you give me a concrete example using the configuration that this project actually has?
So rebuilding does not automatically tell us whether the saved data will survive; the storage location determines that result, correct?
Please explain what you find in simple terms, and distinguish the confirmed facts from anything that still needs another check.
