# 18A Writing a Clear Partnership Reply

When I receive a partnership enquiry, I first identify what the sender is actually asking for before drafting a reply about prices or availability.
A request to add a product listing is different from a request to publish an article, update an existing review, or exchange a link.
I thank the sender for reaching out and ask a focused question if the intended arrangement is still unclear after reading the message.
Then I explain the available options and include the relevant page links so that the other person can see what each option involves.
I keep the reply short enough to read quickly while making the next step explicit and the important conditions easy to find.
If I mention another website, I make it clear that it is a separate site and explain whether the proposed placement would be paid.
I do not invent a rate when I have not decided one, and I avoid implying that a publication has already been approved.
Instead, I can say that I will confirm the price after understanding the scope and the materials that the company wants to provide.
A useful reply helps both sides decide whether the opportunity fits their needs without creating an accidental commitment or an unclear expectation.
The tone can remain friendly and professional even when I need to decline a request or ask for more information before proceeding.
